The television tower, the tallest building in the city, is a well-known landmark and has been used to broadcast radio and television programs since GDR times.

Festival of Lights at the Lustgarten

The Berlin Cathedral is a Protestant church on the Lustgarten on Museum Island in Berlin-Mitte. The neo-Renaissance building was erected between 1894 and 1905 on the orders of the last German emperor, Wilhelm II. Festival of Lights around Bebelplatz

Bebelplatz was commissioned by Frederick the Great in 1740 and built in the Rococo style as part of the Forum Fridericianum. It is bordered to the north by the boulevard Unter den Linden, to the east by the Prinzessinnenpalais and the Stattsoper, to the south by St. Hedwig's Cathedral and Behrenstraße and to the west by the Alte Bibliothek and the Alte Palais.

Festival of Lights at Potsdamer Platz

Potsdamer Platz, located in the former no man's land right next to the Berlin Wall, is a central traffic junction and newly developed lively district in Berlin. It is home to skyscrapers, shopping centers, cinemas, restaurants, museums and even a film academy. The square is a symbol of Berlin's resurgence after the fall of the Wall and attracts tourists and locals alike.
